1. Agreement and eligibility
By using EditUpload.io, you agree to these terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement; if you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must approve your use.
2. The service
EditUpload.io provides tools to edit, process and export video, audio and text. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued. You are responsible for reviewing your edited video before sharing or publishing it. EditUpload.io does not guarantee audience growth, reach, revenue or compatibility with third-party platforms.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of content you upload. You give EditUpload.io a limited license to host, copy, process and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service. You are responsible for having all rights and permissions required for your content, including music, voices, likenesses and trademarks.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use EditUpload.io to break the law; infringe rights; create or distribute malware; exploit minors; harass, threaten or defraud others; bypass security or limits; interfere with the service; scrape accounts; or upload unlawful, abusive or deceptive material. We may restrict or remove access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or others.
5. Accounts and security
Keep account access secure and provide accurate information. Social sign-in is also governed by the provider’s terms. Provider-managed two-factor authentication happens on that provider’s sign-in page. Tell us promptly if you believe your account was compromised.
6. Uploads, review and retention
Browser drafts remain on your device. When editing uploads are enabled, videos and supported photos you choose for editing, sounds or voiceovers you add, and draft snapshots of your editing settings are sent to this app’s server. The authorized review team can view and listen to these uploads for product quality assurance and misuse guidance. Draft snapshots include text, cuts, effects, project name, media references and the approximate playhead position. Snapshots update while editing and may continue while the editor is open; recordings are sent after you stop recording. Administrators can view the latest saved snapshot and render its edited video. Reviewers may record internal notes and review statuses. Signing in may associate an upload with your account identifier.
Uploaded copies and their review notes are retained for 7 days unless removed sooner. You can remove uploaded copies using Your uploaded copies in My videos during the same browser tab session. Local drafts remain unchanged. If you lose the tab session, the removal receipt is lost; automatic expiry and reviewer removal still apply. Review access and removal events are logged. Moving retained copies to restricted backup storage does not extend their retention deadline.
Before sending a new video, the upload confirmation links to this section. The confirmation also covers audio added during that editing session. Opening an existing local draft requires the same upload confirmation before its media and editing snapshot are sent. Files are not collected from unopened drafts. Export working files are processed temporarily and deleted after transfer, failure or cancellation; these working files are separate from retained review copies.
For account security and misuse prevention, we record sign-in methods and times, IP addresses used to access the service, browser/device information reported by your browser, recent service activity, upload types and sizes, draft-sync activity and completed export counts. Authorized administrators can review this information together with account-associated retained media and drafts, remove server content, or suspend account access. Recent activity is kept for up to 90 days with a maximum of 100 events per account; usage totals remain with the account. Minimal blocked-account identifiers may be retained to prevent the same identity from rejoining. These records do not include passwords, provider tokens, keystrokes or activity on other websites. Server removal does not erase copies on your device.
Guest uploads and draft snapshots are grouped in the private administrator review area by the server-recorded IP address at creation. This includes selected photos and videos, the original audio contained in those videos, and completed voice recordings and added sounds. IP grouping is for review and is not proof of identity or permission to access another guest’s files. Guest media, draft snapshots and their attached IP records follow the uploaded-copy retention period above. Older uploads without a recorded IP are shown as unknown.
7. Fees and third parties
Any paid feature will show its price before purchase. Third-party services, including social sign-in providers, are governed by their own terms and availability. EditUpload.io is not affiliated with TikTok or Snapchat unless expressly stated.
8. Copyright reports
Rights holders may send a copyright report to the EditUpload.io operator. A complete notice should identify the work, the material, the reporter’s contact information and a good-faith statement. We may remove content or terminate repeat infringers where required.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties. EditUpload.io is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits or third-party conduct. Any aggregate liability is limited to the greater of amounts paid for the service in the prior twelve months or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow all limitations, so they may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity, termination and disputes
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify EditUpload.io against claims arising from your content, misuse or violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time; we may suspend access for violations or risk. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Disputes may be brought before a court with competent jurisdiction under applicable law. These terms do not require arbitration or waive mandatory consumer protections.
11. Local drafts and backups
Drafts, recordings and edit settings saved in your browser are not an account backup and do not automatically sync between devices. Clearing browser data, changing browsers or losing access to the device may remove them. Keep copies of your original media and downloaded videos. EditUpload.io does not claim ownership of your media or a right to sell it.
12. Changes
Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Continued use after an effective date means you accept the updated terms. These terms, together with any incorporated policies, form the agreement between you and the person or organization operating EditUpload.io.
13. Contact
For support, account questions, privacy requests or copyright reports relating to EditUpload.io, contact support@editupload.io. Include enough information to identify the issue or content. Do not send passwords or authentication codes.
